🏆We hosted the first-ever SeedLegals Startup Awards

The first-ever SeedLegals Startup Awards happened on 22 February 2024, and we’re thrilled to say it was a roaring success. The atmosphere of celebration was electric and it was incredible to have over 450 people from the startup community together.

🚀We launched our Share Options subscription

We’ve bundled our share option scheme services into an annual subscription that makes it easier and more affordable for you to set up and run unlimited share option schemes. The Options subscription on SeedLegals costs £2,490 per year and includes:

✅Unlimited EMI share option schemes for UK-based, PAYE employees
✅Unlimited EMI valuations to get the best possible discount for your team

💷We released SeedFAST groups: raise as much as you like

One SeedFAST, two SeedFASTs, unlimited SeedFASTs… you can now create a SeedFAST group with one set of consent documents and raise via as many SeedFASTs as you wish, all in a single workflow. The new feature allows you to:

✅Get a quick overview of the progress on all your SeedFASTs at a glance
✅Set your target raise amount for the group of SeedFASTS, but adapt terms per individual SeedFAST
✅ Clone terms from other SeedFASTs
✅ Close deals faster than ever

⬇️Downloading your documents got easier

We’ve improved our download all documents feature so customers downloading a large amount of documents at once can do so quickly and easily.

To download all your documents at once, go to the My Documents tab > Download all.

⬆️ We upgraded the R&D workflow

Putting together R&D claims on SeedLegals is now easier than ever. We’ve improved the workflow design to help you:

✅Break your claim down into sections
✅See your progress

It’s cleaner and simpler to use so you can navigate each step with ease.

👉We made it simpler to downgrade from Plus to Standard

Sometimes you need a change of plans. We want to make sure it’s easy for you to choose and change the SeedLegals membership plan that works best for you. You can now seamlessly downgrade from Plus to Standard. Simply log in, navigate to > Settings > Memberships > click ‘subscribe’ in the Standard Card. Enter your details, hit ‘subscribe’ and your plan will automatically downgrade. Done.

You can upgrade to Plus again any time you want to. Just follow the same procedure except subscribe to Plus instead of Standard.

💷Companies House announced a rise in fees

Two regulations have been passed, which will result in a rise in fees from 1 May 2024:

• Incorporation of a company or LLP online will increase from £10 to £50
• The registration of a UK establishment of an overseas company will increase from £20 to £71
• The registration of an overseas entity on the Register of Overseas Entities (ROE) will increase from £100 to £234
• Additionally, same day services will experience a price jump. For example, the cost of a same-day reduction of share capital will increase from £50 to £136.
