FAQs
Is this free to attend?
100% free! Thanks to our partners, there are no hidden costs in our founder event series, making this a super accessible event series.Do I need to attend every session?
Not at all. Each session within our founder event series works as a standalone so they will make sense by themselves. That said, the more you attend, the more you’ll get out of our series. Will sessions be recorded?
Our online webinars are recorded and shared within 48 hours of the event, so you can catch up whenever suits you.
The in-person sessions, including the investor pitch sessions, aren't recorded though, so if you want to experience those moments, live pitches and all, you'll need to be in the room.
Some things are best captured in person, not on camera.
Our five in-person sessions are live-only, meaning no recordings will be available for these.Who are the speakers?
We're locking in the full lineup for this specific founder event series, but here's what you can expect: SeedLegals leadership sharing what they see across thousands of startups, founders who've raised and scaled telling it straight, and active investors giving you a real look at what they want to see in a pitch.
Expect practical insight from people who've actually done it, not just talked about it. Watch this space for names.Do I need to attend the in-person sessions?
Not essential. Founder Growth Rooms is built so you can dip in and out, joining whatever online or in-person sessions suit your stage and schedule.
That said, the founder events that are in-person are worth carving out time for: they're where you get hands-on coaching and mentoring to sharpen your pitch and build the skills that make you investor-ready.
Come along for that bit if you want expert eyes on your pitch and honest, practical feedback. Is this open to founders outside of the UK?
Yes, Founder Growth Rooms is open to founders anywhere in the world. Worth knowing: some sessions dig into specifics like UK fundraising mechanisms and tax schemes, so parts of the content are UK-focused.
That said, the fundamentals of raising, pitching and getting investor-ready apply wherever you're building, so there's still plenty here for you. What stage does my business need to be at?
Wherever you are, you're welcome. The sessions are open to any founder building a business, whether you're shaping your idea or already raising, and every session is designed to help you get raise-ready.
The one exception is any sessions with real investors: those are for founders with a genuine business and proposition to present, because investors are giving you their time and you deserve to walk in ready, not still finding your feet. Come for the sessions, build towards the pitch.
