Meet the new SeedLegals plans – ready for every stage, from day one to big raises and beyond

Introducing our new, clearer and more flexible membership plans. They’re designed to grow with you, and be easy to start and simple to scale when you’re ready.

We’ve updated our pricing to make SeedLegals easier to use at every stage of your journey. The new plans give you the tools to get investment-ready, the flexibility to raise small top-ups or larger rounds, and everything you need to reward your team as you grow.

From today, everything sits in three clear categories: Access, Funding and Options.

  • Access gives you the key documents, workflows and support you rely on every day. And it’s easy to bolt on extra services or buy a funding package when you need it.
  • Funding gives you total flexibility in how you raise, with ready-to-go bundles of Flex credits you can use on SeedFASTs, rounds or top-ups in whatever combination works best – and support at every step.
  • Options stays exactly as it is, giving you everything you need to reward and retain your team with equity.

These new categories replace our previous Standard and Plus plans. In this post, we’ll explain how it works.

Access
Pay-as-you-go to run your company and get ready to raise

Access is the plan that gets your foundations in place – the legal documents and support you need before and after you start raising. Use it to hire your team, stay organised, keep your cap table accurate and run your board. And when you’re ready, you can bolt on any extra services you need or add Flex credits to raise early angel investment.

Here’s what you get on Access (£75 +VAT / month or £590 + VAT / year):

You can pay monthly, or choose Access Annual and save 35% compared to paying month to month.

With Access, you get the essentials covered. And when something specific comes up, you can add extra services whenever you need them.

Funding
Whether you’re raising £5k or £10M+, get standout support and better value as you raise more

When you’re raising, you need a way to move fast, adapt your strategy and keep costs predictable. That’s exactly what SeedLegals Funding gives you.

For a fixed amount each year, you get everything you need to run your raise your way – fast SeedFASTs, streamlined rounds, easy top-ups, unlimited support and the freedom to combine them in any order. No surprise fees, no limits on how many raise events you can run, just a smoother, more flexible way to raise that you won’t find anywhere else.

Here’s how the plans work:

Raise up to £100k per year – £1,490 + VAT / year

  • Includes £100k worth of Flex credits
  • Perfect for early angel raises, first commitments or moving quickly while you line up your lead investor

Raise
Raise up to £250k per year – £2,790 + VAT / year

  • Ideal for your SEIS round (the current SEIS limit is £250K)
  • Includes £250k worth of Flex credits
  • Save £300 + VAT – compared to buying Access Annual + £250k in Flex credits separately

Scale
Raise up to £500k per year – £4,990 + VAT / year

  • Includes £500k worth of Flex credits and the best overall value
  • Designed for teams raising larger rounds, topping up throughout the year or combining several raises
  • Save £600 + VAT – compared to buying Access Annual + £500k in Flex credits separately
Top up anytime – no need to move up a tier

Once you’re on a Funding plan, you can buy extra Flex credits whenever you need them with no minimum spend. Whether you need £5k or £10M more, you can add exactly the amount your raise requires without switching to a higher tier.

When you’re raising, being able to move fast makes all the difference. As soon as your Funding plan starts, your Flex credits are ready to use and you can fire off SeedFASTs in minutes – quick, simple and with support beside you whenever you need it.

And this is just the start. These plans form the foundation for a bigger founder–investor experience we’re building, including new ways to connect with engaged investors already using our documents and workflows. We’ll have more to share soon!

Hands-on help from people who know fundraising inside out

Every Funding plan also gives you access to the people and support that help founders raise with confidence.

You’ll get a dedicated Account Manager as your main point of contact. They’ll be on hand to keep everything running smoothly and to help you make progress at every stage. Each Funding plan also includes a quarterly strategy review, where you and your Account Manager can review where you are, discuss what’s coming up and make sure you’re set up for your next steps.

You’ll also get fundraising support from the team whenever you need it – answering your questions, helping you navigate your raise and making sure you’re using your Flex credits in the way that works best for you.

On top of that support, you’ll also join the wider SeedLegals founder community – with events, masterclasses, webinars and our founder WhatsApp group. It’s a whole ecosystem of informal support to help you meet investors, build momentum and grow faster.

Funding and Options members also get exclusive access to our AI assistant, Lawrence – a smart companion built into the SeedLegals platform. It can read and summarise your documents, answer questions in context and help you work through tasks more efficiently. It’s there to make things quicker and easier, not to replace the human support you get on these plans. It’s just an extra layer of help alongside your team.

Flex credits just got even more flexible

We’ve expanded what you can do with Flex credits, giving you even more freedom in how you raise. Here’s what’s new:

  • Use Flex on more services, including SEIS/EIS Advance Assurance, share transfers and share issues
  • Top up any amount on a Funding plan – there’s no minimum spend
    (On Access, there’s a minimum top-up of 100k Flex)

These improvements make fundraising smoother end-to-end. You can react quickly to new investors, handle last-minute top-ups and get your SEIS/EIS admin moving without worrying about unexpected fees. And because Flex credits last 12 months from purchase, you can plan your costs upfront and raise with confidence.

A quick recap: how Flex works

Flex is our pricing model for agile fundraising. Instead of paying separately for each SeedFAST, round or top-up, you buy a bundle of Flex credits and spend them however you like – raising gradually, switching strategy or adding investors as you go.

Choose Flex to:

  • Fix your fundraising costs upfront for clearer, more predictable budgeting
  • Raise at your own pace, without one-off fees slowing things down
  • Bring in small investors without paying extra per person
  • Mix SeedFASTs and rounds without additional charges
  • Smooth out the whole fundraising process, from first cheques to final close
  • Save money with a sliding-scale price that gets cheaper the more you raise
  • Get Flex back if an investor drops out

Options
Everything you need to reward and retain your team

Nothing is changing with our Options plan (£2,490 + VAT / year). It includes everything you need to create, manage and grow your EMI or Unapproved option schemes – unlimited valuations, unlimited schemes, unlimited grants and unlimited help from our experienced team and the SeedLegals AI companion at every step.

FAQ for Standard and Plus members

I’m on Standard: what does this mean for me?

No changes here. When your Standard plan renews (either monthly or annually), you’ll stay on your current Standard rate. It’s lower than the new Access price, and as a thank-you for staying with us, you can keep that rate for as long as you like.

There’s just one thing to be aware of: if you ever decide not to renew or you switch to a different plan, you won’t be able to return to the Standard price later. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

But as long as you keep your subscription active, you can carry on with your current Standard plan at your current fee, with no changes.

I’m on Plus: what does this mean for me?

If you’re currently on Plus, you’ll keep all your Plus perks and support right up until the end of your annual subscription. Nothing changes for you in the meantime.

When your Plus plan reaches its renewal date, we’ll move you onto Access Annual automatically (£590 + VAT / year). It’s our best value plan for your company essentials and unlimited support – at a lower price than Plus.

If you’d prefer to move onto one of the new Funding plans instead, no problem. Just speak to your Account Manager and they can help.

  • More FAQs for Standard and Plus members

    Do I need to do anything?

    No – nothing changes immediately. Standard and Plus users will keep their current features and pricing until their renewal date. At that point, the plan changes will happen automatically.

    Will I pay more?

    Not unless you choose to upgrade to a Funding plan.

    • Standard users keep their existing, lower rate for as long as they renew.
    • Plus users will move to Access Annual, which costs less than Plus.

    If you choose to switch plans, you’ll pay the price of the new plan.

    Will I lose any features?

    No features are removed from any plan before the renewal date.

    Plus users continue to receive all Plus perks until their renewal.

    Option scheme customers see no changes at all.

    Can I go back to my old plan later?

    Standard users can keep their current rate indefinitely – but if you cancel or switch away from Standard, you won’t be able to get that lower price back.

    Plus users can’t return to Plus once it expires, as the plan is being retired.

    What if I want to upgrade?

    You can switch to one of the new Funding plans at any time. These include built-in Flex credits and no minimum spend on top-ups. If you’re planning a raise soon, a Funding plan will give you better value than choosing an Access plan and buying the equivalent amount of Flex credits.

    Does this affect my existing raises, documents or option scheme?

    No. All your existing documents, cap table data, option schemes and fundraising history remain exactly as they are. Nothing changes to any current or past work you’ve completed on the platform.

    Why is SeedLegals making these changes?

    To make pricing simpler, more transparent and more aligned with how founders raise today. The new structure gives you clearer choices and more flexibility, especially if you raise in smaller steps or more frequently.
