Abdul is a qualified lawyer at SeedLegals. He has significant experience in negotiating VC funding rounds with companies from pre-seed right through to Series A and beyond.

He graduated with a Law degree from the University of Cambridge before going on to practice law at global law firms Orrick and Goodwin. There, he helped innovative startups and global VC investors on early stage and growth stage fundraisings as well as guiding companies through exit and acquisition.

Abdul has a particular interest in legal tech and climate tech which he has used to help companies raise multi-millions in funding with SeedLegals. He advised Definely in their $7m Series A funding round led by Octopus Ventures, which will allow them to take their unified solution for legal documents to the next level. He also helped close a £2m VC funding round for PHINXT, a female-led robotics startup working to transform warehouse operations.

When he’s not busy working with the next generation of innovative tech companies, you’ll find Abdul pretending he’s definitely not lost while out hiking with his friends and family.
