About the awards
The first-ever Startup Awards will take place on 22 February 2024, and preparations are well underway with nominations in and a shortlist of winners selected.
We created this awards event to:
🏆Recognise top talent in the UK startup ecosystem
🎉Celebrate entrepreneurship
🤝Bring the startup community together to connect
The awards have received an enthusiastic response so far, with over 1,000 nominations flooding in for sixteen awards categories – fourteen categories for startups and two for investors.
The categories cover a variety of areas, from customer service to ESG, star storytelling, rapid growth and more. Of course, startups wouldn’t be possible without the support of investors, so there are also awards for Angel Investor of the Year and SEIS Fund of the Year. The winners will be revealed at the event on 22 February 2024.
As part of our commitment to supporting and fostering entrepreneurship, we’ll choose one grand prize winner to receive £50,000 equity investment from an anonymous angel investor 🤩 (T&Cs apply).

An evening of celebration – what to expect
Get ready for a dazzling celebration on 22 February 2024. The event is being hosted at Battersea Arts Centre in London – an eclectic venue known as London’s ‘home for the extraordinary.’ There’ll be:
