Anthony Rose: Hello, I’m Anthony, founder at SeedLegals and every day I talk to amazing founders and today I’m talking to Mick from Jointflows who’s got a fantastic backstory. So Mick, tell us about yourself.

Mick Gosset: Hi, my name is Mick. I’m French. I used to be in a French team, gymnastics and acrobatics. I’m now the founder of a company called Jointflows and I used to let sales, SaaS sales teams to acquisition; Yieldify, RichRelevance, Tinyclues.

Anthony Rose: All right, amazing. So from Acrobat to help sales teams do acrobatics. All right, so tell me what’s the problem that Jointflows solves?

Mick Gosset:  We are solving deal slippage. There’s a lot of rush at the end of each fiscal period to try and bring in those last few deals. And there’s a lack of control and predictability over them because the buying process is not linear and is very messy and unstructured.

Anthony Rose: Okay, so every SaaS company knows that there’s a massive team effort at the end of the quarter or the end of the year or the end of the month, however they get paid bonuses, to try and get deals over the line and then they probably leave it too late and it slips and it gets missed and goes to competitors. So Jointflows is there to help with that. And how do you solve this problem?

Mick Gosset: Through AI and through a project management-like solution for revenue teams so that they can control, accelerate, predict and win those non-linear sales cycles and buying cycles. That gives you full visibility and then your ability to forecast what’s actually going to happen within your pipeline.

Anthony Rose: Okay, so our sales team at SeedLegals, we’re on HubSpot. So I’m guessing you plug into HubSpot and help with analytics and predictability and the project management?

Mick Gosset: Exactly that. HubSpot, Salesforce, all the main CRM platforms are essentially creating a problem. They’re giving you a funnel view, five stages in a linear approach. And then you’ve got the buying cycle, which is 40 milestones to go through in a very disordered way. So there’s two worlds that are not matching. And then because it’s not matching, you’ve got a gap in your ability to forecast and predict.

Anthony Rose: Interesting. And what sort of gains do you bring in a company that uses Jointflows?

Mick Gosset: According to our clients, we’ve got the most accurate forecasting tool on the market. But we’re also able to better control and visibility of the buying cycle to accelerate sales velocity by up to 50%.

Anthony Rose: That is amazing. So any SaaS company that’s watching this should immediately go out and check out Jointflows. And what size sort of companies is your target audience?

Mick Gosset: Series A onwards, more than 100 employees, a scale-up company basically where there’s an element of sophistication in the workflow they’ve got and a lot of manual work to align everyone essentially. That’s our core market.

Anthony Rose:  Okay, and what’s your pricing model? It’s a user license, 59 pounds per user per month. Okay, that seems…pretty inexpensive if it’s going to get you a significant… Okay, and what got you out of bed one morning to go, I was a gymnast and acrobat and now I want to increase sales team velocity.

Mick Gosset: So I was trying to fix my own issue around predictability and control of buying processes. They were all one offs and it was really hard to then make sense of them at scale. And there was nothing in the market outside of the hub spot, the sales worth of the world. So we created our own solution and now everybody’s kind of interested in it.

Anthony Rose : All right, that is amazing. Now, how can people get hold of you to find out more?

      Mick Gosset: Jointflows.com, Mick Gosset on LinkedIn, G O S S E T or mg@jointflows.com.

Anthony Rose: Amazing. I’m looking forward to using your product ourselves.

Mick Gosset: Thank you very much.

Anthony Rose:  Thank you, Mick. Thank you.

    Key takeaways

    The problem with unpredictable sales

    • Sales teams often find themselves losing revenue and missing targets when they’re pressed for time at the end of a quarter.
    • Traditional CRMs do not align with the non-linear reality of buying processes. The gaps that result are associated with less control over deal progress.

    Jointflows’ solution

    • Jointflows is here to add structure and predictability to sales, by integrating with major CRMs like Hubspot and Salesforce.
    • Their software maps real buying processes, which enables teams to control, accelerate and forecast deal outcomes with greater accuracy.

    Traction and growth

    • Targeting Series A+ scale-ups with over 100 employees, Jointflows is currently set with a highly cost-effective £59 per user per month pricing model.
    • Its clients have reported it as the most accurate forecasting tool on the market.
